Privacy Policy
The short version
By default your training data stays on your device: no account, no analytics, no telemetry, and nothing you log reaches us. If you choose to sign in and use cloud sync, your training data is stored for your account so your devices can share it - and only for that.
1. Who we are
Repcade is operated by Northline Works, an independent software studio. For anything privacy-related, contact contact@repcade.com.
2. Data the app stores locally
When you use the app, it saves your data in your browser's local storage on your device. This includes your profile (the name you enter, and optionally sex, age, height, and weight), your programs, logged sessions, personal bests, goals, XP, and achievements.
This data stays in your browser unless you choose to sign in and enable cloud sync, which is described separately in section 6. Deleting your browser's site data permanently removes the local copy. Without cloud sync or a downloaded backup, we cannot recover it for you because we never received it.
The free app can download a complete backup file and restore one you select. Exporting sends the file only to the download location you choose; importing reads the selected file locally. Repcade does not upload either operation to Northline Works.
The profile fields exist so the app can estimate strength ratings against general population standards. Selecting "prefer not to say" for sex simply disables ratings; the app works fine without them.
3. Data the website processes
This site is static and sets no cookies of its own, and we run no analytics on it.
The site and app are served by Cloudflare, our hosting provider. Like effectively all web hosting, Cloudflare processes standard technical request data (such as IP addresses) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse, and may keep short-lived operational logs. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
The site loads its font from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests the font file from Google's servers. See Google's privacy policy.
4. The mailing list (opt-in only)
If you choose to join the mailing list, your email address is collected and stored by Kit, the newsletter service we use, and is used only to send you development updates. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you. See Kit's privacy policy. We never add anyone to the list without them signing up.
5. Email you send us
If you email contact@repcade.com, we keep the correspondence for as long as needed to handle it. We do not add you to any list or share your address.
6. Optional accounts and cloud sync
Signing in is optional and exists for one feature: cloud sync. If you use it:
- Sign-in is handled by Auth0, our identity provider - we never see or store your password. See Auth0's privacy policy.
- We store your account identifier and your synced training data (the same data described in section 2) on Cloudflare's infrastructure in Europe, solely to provide sync to your devices.
- Signing out stops sync; your local data stays on your device. To have your synced cloud data deleted, email contact@repcade.com from the account's address (a self-serve delete button is planned).
7. What we do not do
- No advertising, and no sharing or selling of data to anyone.
- No tracking pixels, no fingerprinting, no cross-site anything.
- No passwords stored by us - sign-in, if you use it, happens at our identity provider.
8. Children
The app is not directed at children under 13, and its profile setup assumes an age of 13 or over.
9. Changes to this policy
If the app gains features that change the data practices described above, this policy will be updated before those changes ship, with the effective date at the top revised.
